About the Great Dane

The Great Dane is one of the largest breeds of the dog in the world. Great Danes can grow from a minimum height of 28 inches for females, and a minimum height of 30 inches for males.  Both the United Kennel Club and the American Kennel Club list the breed under the Working group.  The 2014 record for the World's tallest dog belongs to a Great Dane named Zeus, who died in September 2014 at the age 5.
