About the Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was first developed in Pembrokeshire, Wales - hence, its name.  It is one of the two varieties of the Welsh Corgi breed.  The other originated in Cardigan Wales and is named Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for their high trainability and intelligence. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a small dog with a foxed shaped face, erect ears, and thick, medium-length coat. The breed belongs to the Herding group in the AKC's official listing.
